Andrea has been part of our team since… day 1! As our Founder and Managing Director, she embodies all that IJA stands for. Learn a little more about her below!
Grit
Encouraging, loyal, and respectful are just three of the words that describe Andrea’s leadership style. She motivates our team on a daily basis, calls us out when needed, and is truly our biggest cheerleader. In addition to leading our team, Andrea works tirelessly day in and day out for our clients. She says the things no one else is willing to say, resets expectations, and calls out when goals are threatened. She does this all with a certain strategic thoughtfulness that is truly hard to find! Above all, she treats every client project like she would treat an internal project, and all of our clients with the utmost respect.
Family
Andrea is a loving mother to three children (plus two pups, one kitty, and two fish, too). If you stop by our Detroit headquarters, you may even run into one of her adorable kids! Family is everything to Andrea, and that has certainly translated into the culture she’s fostered at IJA. She looks at the entire team as family, even our kids and pets!
Next Level
Andrea graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Accounting, then went on to attend Columbia College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Accounting. She previously served as the product lead for Accenture and quickly established herself as an authority on Workday®. Andrea founded IJA Strategies with one goal – to help others. Andrea knows what it’s like to feel frustrated with technology because, well, she’s been there. When starting IJA, she vowed that no person should ever have to feel that way, and she’s done her best to make that dream a reality ever since!
Integrity
Whether it’s showing appreciation for the IJA team, donating to a local free lunch program, or helping out a stranger who simply needs a boost, Andrea is one of the most giving people you’ll ever meet. She’s extremely passionate about lifting up other women, mentoring others, and living each day with purpose.
